Student Lifecycle & Program Management System
Women Building Futures is a Canadian nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women by providing training and support for careers in industries where women are underrepresented. To enhance their operational efficiency and improve the student registration experience, WBF partnered with Vertical Lift Business Solutions Inc., a Microsoft Dynamics 365 specialist, to implement a comprehensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and develop a user-friendly registration portal.
Prior to this initiative, WBF faced several challenges:
Manual Processes: Student registrations and application management were handled manually, leading to inefficiencies and potential errors.
Data Management: Without a centralized system, tracking student information and program applications was cumbersome.
User Experience: Prospective students lacked an intuitive platform to access information sessions, apply for programs, and manage their applications.
Scalability: As WBF grew, their existing processes and tools were unable to keep up with the increasing volume of applications and data, making it difficult to support their expanding reach and impact.
To address these challenges, WBF collaborated with Vertical Lift to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 as their CRM platform. Vertical Lift's team conducted an in-depth analysis of WBF's business processes and requirements to tailor the solution effectively.
Additionally, Vertical Lift developed the "myWBF" portal, an integrated online platform that allows users to:
Create Accounts: Prospective students can easily create accounts to begin their journey with WBF.
Register for Information Sessions and Workshops: Users can sign up for sessions to learn about available programs and participate in readiness workshops.
Manage Applications: Applicants can complete and monitor their program applications through the portal.
Operational Efficiency: Automating the registration and application processes reduced administrative workload and minimized errors.
Centralized Data Management: Dynamics 365 provided a unified platform for storing and accessing student information, enhancing data accuracy and accessibility.
Enhanced User Experience: The myWBF portal offered a seamless and intuitive interface for prospective students, improving engagement and satisfaction.
