Special Olympics Canada, a national organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities through sport, faced challenges in managing their growing network of members and volunteers. Their legacy system was inefficient, leading to time-consuming manual processes and fragmented data that hindered effective communication and engagement. Recognizing the need for a modern solution, they partnered with Vertical Lift to transform their systems using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and a custom portal.

Dynamics 365 Implementation: Centralizing all membership and volunteer data into a unified, cloud-based system. This provided staff with real-time access to accurate information, improved reporting, and seamless integration across departments and provincial chapters

Custom Portal Development: Designing a portal to simplify interactions for members and volunteers. The portal allowed users to update their profiles, register for programs, track training courses, run reports and access resources, all in one place. The portal now serves over 50,000 members and volunteers across Canada.

Automation of Workflows: Automating key processes such as member status updates, program enrollment renewals, and communication work-flows, significantly reducing manual effort.
